SOUTHWESTERN SPICED PECANS (2 cups)
2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, more to taste
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground coriander
¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon allspice
2 cups pecan halves
½ beaten egg white
1. Heat oven to 300*. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. Mix dark brown sugar, paprika, cayenne, salt, coriander, garlic, cumin and allspice in a bowl. Mix pecan halves and egg white in a bowl until combined. Toss nuts with spice mixture to coat completely.
3. Spread on prepared baking sheet and bake until browned and crisp, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool before serving.
