DEVILED HAM AND PICKLE SANDWICHES (4)

2 cups Nana’s deviled ham
½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/3 cup mayonnaise
sliced cornichons or dill pickles
thinly sliced sweet onion
8 slices whole wheat sandwich bread, toasted if you like
Boston lettuce leaves and thinly sliced ripe tomatoes (optional)
- Add Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces to deviled ham along with the mayonnaise and mix until well combined.
- Spread one slice of the bread with the ham mixture, and top with pickles and onions. Add tomato slices and lettuce if you are using them. Press gently to help the sandwich adhere.
