1-1/2 pounds steamed broccoli
¾ stick (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter
3 tablespoons drained capers, chopped
3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaved parsley
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- While broccoli is steaming, melt the butter in a small saucepan over moderate heat. Stir in the capers and cook, stirring occasionally, until butter is golden brown, about 4 minutes. Stir in parsley, salt and pepper.
- Turn steamed broccoli into a warmed serving dish and toss it with the caper butter.
